Results will vary, and depend on client's individual commitment to exercise and diet. Your success is up to you.
What are your goals? How will you ensure that you stay on track towards them? And, once you achieve your goals, how will you maintain them? You must answer these questions for yourself, but you don't need to do it alone!
Below are some of my client's success stories. I helped all these folks determine and achieve their fitness goals. I can do the same for you, but only if you sign up!
These pictures are from when she first started with me, and then when she ran her first half marathon. I am so proud of her!
Christine changes so quickly now, I need to upload another version so I can show the changes! What's the key to her changes? Consistency--treat your workout like you would your work/job, show up for every workout and give it your best. Then, treat your diet like it's your fuel for your car that gets you to your job--it's what carries you everywhere you go. Without it, you couldn't get there.
Nelson started working with me in September of 2019. He took the second photo in mid January, 2020. He has been steadily losing weight. He’s a super hard worker, never misses a workout and is very focused! What does it take to make this type of change?
A lot of people think it’s exercising like crazy, but the reality is it’s mostly what you eat. Nelson said he got interested in both diet and exercise and how they affect weight when he listened to a podcast one day(Science Vs Exercise: Fat Buster or Belly Flop) and something clicked for him. He uses the app MyFitnessPal daily to track his calories, and since I “follow” him on the app I can attest to the fact he logs in everyday. Each day he prepares his own meals and only goes off his program for special occasions, AND he made it through the holidays with pretty much no weight gain!
Let’s face it, if you don’t have your diet under control, it will be hard to get the weight off no matter how much you exercise. However, let’s not underestimate the power of what exercise can do for you. Exercise truly IS medicine! It significantly improves heart health, helps control blood sugar levels, cholesterol, brain health, and has even shown to ward off certain types of cancer.
Last but not least it can tone up a body after weight loss by building muscle. My clients often tell me how surprised they are when they discover how much easier activities of daily living are after working out for a few months consistently, or how it can actually alleviate tight muscles from too much sitting behind a work desk or on a plane. Remember: Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being while methodical physical exercise saves and preserves it!
This is Justin before he went to dental school. He wanted to lose some weight and get strong before he hit the books again!
She tried Nutrisystems, calorie counting, and even lost 20 lbs on her own. The problem was, it did not stay off, and she didn't feel that she looked, or felt, as good as she does now. So far she has lost approximately 35 lbs (and counting) even with the muscle gain! The difference now? Muscular, cardio development and an overall balance of proper nutrition, and a well rounded work-out routine. AND, last but not least, a desire to achieve specific goals!
This is Linda Baysari. When she started working with me, she didn't want to show her face because she was embarrassed about weight gain. She has a much better attitude now! Just be happy with who you are, as long as you are healthy, and feel good! Linda is in her 60s and looking better than ever!
Kellie lost 10 lbs! My sister looks great. Fitness runs in the family.
Terry was another client I featured in one of my sidebar stories. He had terrible gout, and completely changed his diet and exercise routine! Made a difference didn't it?
Monika Larson
"Monica came into my life in July 2014 and I don't think she has any idea how much she has changed it. I was struggling with my confidence partially because I didn't like the way I looked anymore. I had always been athletic and in shape until I had two kids and there just wasn't enough time anymore. Having Monica come to my home was exactly what I needed. She pushed me beyond what I though I was capable of and encouraged me the whole way through. I had people telling me "wow, you look great! What are you doing?" I even had a complete stranged walk up to me while my husband I were taking a walk and say "Now you're in shape. You look amazing. I want to look like you." I bragged to her about Monica of course. I walked around with a smile on face for the rest of the day. Thank you Monica for helping me accomplish my health and fitness goals and giving me back my confidence. I will be forever grateful. Thank you again for pushing me! It's exactly what I needed. Monika"

She has the ability to come to you, she personalizes your workout, she has great nutritional advice and recipes and she actually CARES about your results!!! She has always given me excellent workouts and goals to work toward. I really don't know what I'd do without her. Look no further. Do yourself a favor and call Monica."

"Monica is great. She's smart and fun, encouraging without being obnoxious. I've enjoyed every session, even as I've worked out harder than I ever would have on my own."
Building Services Director David S. Taylor Interests, Inc. U.S. Bank Tower
"Monica comes highly recommended by our tenants here at the U.S. Bank Tower. She provides great instruction and always mixes up the workouts so her clients not only see results, but constantly feel challenged.
